The Brief
A loft style apartment that is built around a courtyard. Our client a young city bachelor had been thinking about developing the bathroom for a while but he did not have the time or the know how. He did have however a very clear idea of the style he liked. A contemporary bathroom with very clean lines and a masculine feel.
Planning Process
The bathroom was very small and there was scope to take space from an unused corner of the master bedroom to enlarge it. 4 different options were drawn up and presented to the client. Two of them were selected for the tendering stage. At the end of the design process the client was able to make a fully informed decision.
How it went
The project was carefully planned before the works commenced and as a result all the FF&E items were on site just before the day they were needed. The client was very happy and described the final result as beyond his expectations. Any issues/problems you had to overcome during the project? Damage of a previous leak was found once the existing floor was lifted. A reasonable quote was provided to fix the floor boards and the work was duly completed prior to the commencement of the new installation.
