The Brief
If there is one thing we have learnt during the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s just how much we value our homes. An area to work from home became key during this period of time. Our client had the luxury of a separate room to telework from. However, this space was not practical or inviting. Nor a room he was proud to show during his zoom calls. The brief was to create his perfect home office. After the Brief Meeting we established that his idea of perfection should be something quite modern contemporary, masculine and sleek, incorporating plenty of storage.
How It Went
For a year or so the client had been toying with the idea of doing the room by himself. He didn’t know where to start from. However, from the first meeting it was easy to create a communication flow between both parts that allowed us to establish his taste and preferences that was ultimately reflected into the design and final finish of the space.
Issues / Problems Overcome During The Project
The room was long and quite dark as it is north facing. We planned the room around the windows and designated part of the room as a formal working space with a showpiece desk. The other part as a more informal seating area, great for meetings and presentations. Contrasting colours and finishes helped us make the most of the available light.
Client Testimonial
“The space looks amazing and more to the point it’s a great place to work and relax. I will not hesitate to recommend the TL team, I will definitely call back to do my dining room with them in a not very distant future”.
